ABOUT

Jireh Habitation is a medium-scale, wholly indigenous Civil/Building Engineering Construction and Real Estate Development Company, which was founded by Mr Akportobore Stephen Okei and was incorporated in the year 1998. The company has its headquarters in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. It commenced full operations in 2002. Its main business interest includes building/civil engineering construction and real estate development.

At inception, the company started off as a small-scale building Construction Company at its Abuja office with a staff strength of five, including the Managing Director and a Confidential Secretary.

Over the years, however, the company has recorded some modest growth, which witnessed its transformation from a small-scale construction outfit to a medium-scale construction company in the year 2007. The asset base and turnover of Jireh Habitation also increased by up to two million-fold. Jireh Habitation has invested substantially in the acquisition of construction Plants & Equipments used in its construction activities. The company floated a plant leasing outfit (Jireh Plants, Equipment & Construction Ltd) as a subsidiary in 2008 to manage all its plant & machineries.

Jireh Habitation has embarked on and completed several road construction projects across the country. The company is known for its high-quality work and speedy delivery of projects embarked upon. These facts had been attested to by its clients in all the projects undertaken so far. Notable amongst those attestations is the comment and recommendation of the Ministerial Committee on the Zero Pot-hole policy of the former Honourable Minister of Works, Arc. Mike O. Onolememen (FNIA, FNIM, FNSE) was led by his Hon. Minister of State for works, Ambassador Bashir Yuguda. He addressed FERMA, attesting to the quality of work executed by Jireh Habitation when the team visited the 9th mile – Obollo Afor Enugu state border project in December 2012. This was published in the Punch Newspaper. According to the committee, “This Company needs to be encouraged”.
